Linda Hopkins, long time member of the DFL Senior Caucus and retired attorney, offers a fun look at the woman who founded the profession of cryptoanalysis (the deciphering of coded radio signals).

Imagine a young woman who becomes an international crime fighter, busts up Nazi and Japanese spy rings,  and has FBI men guarding her from the likes of Dutch Schultze and Al Capone. Learn about her skill, the invention of radio, World War I/II warfare, and even a bit about how to code!

The class is part of the Shoreview Community Center’s winter program. The presentation is Thursday, January 9, from 1-3:00p. The cost is $19.00 for non-Shoreview residents.

Join the class by sending an email to Jennifer Verbrugge at Jverbrugge@shoreviewmn.gov or calling 651.490.4714.
